I've only been at this for about a year. I usually use my fresh goats milk. (Creamy as can be) Like your dad describes it. She's pregnant and resting now so the only organic milk I have is from an organic dairy that pasturizes. It works but I get those curds way more with it. Was mom giving him fermented milk? Like a butter milk? Was the milk she used put thru a seperator? Did she use straight creme? That is really creamy. When I rest my grains I rest them in half and half and put the grains and the cream into the fresh room temp milk for the nxt batch. Just some things to think about. Hope you figure it out. I don't have a dad I can fuss over.(He's not dead)
