First flush "jitters"

I really want to do one of the flushes, as I am experiencing gall bladder pain due to stones. My doctor said "it will have to be taken out", but the surgeon said that I could wait on surgery if the pain is not constant. I have been taking stone-free, drinking apple juice, cutting out fat except for flax seed oil, eating radishes for a week. Should I keep doing this for longer before I attempt a flush, or should I try a flush this weekend? I am very nervous that the stones will get stuck, as I have read around the internet, and I am also concerned that the flush will simply not work. Does it really get rid of stones? Can you check this out by doing an ultrasound?
