What are the signs one has flushed enough?

I just completed my 7th or 8th flush, and after not passing many of the "green peas", am begining to wonder if I am at the point of only needing to flush twice a year at six month intervals. There was also much less of the "chaff" this time, and over all, somewhat disappointing results, at least in terms of volume of material - thus, the basis for my question.
