"IT (Christ's mission) is finished" John 19:30

It is fully recognized that Mormons love God, but the god of confusion (Satan) runs wild in this world deceiving everyone, even the elect. As "babes in Christ", we are "men of the flesh" (1 Corinthians 3:1), we behave like "ordinary men" (verse 3:3)(ordinary men are unspiritual and cannot receive the gifts of God's SPIRIT (1 Corinthian 2:14) and will tend to be easily deceived by the evil one, but as long as we develop "eyes to see and ears to hear" (in order to deepen our personal relationship with Jesus, because we do not yet have a DEEP personal relationship with Jesus), we CAN and must move on to maturity from the "elementary doctrine of Christ"(Hebrews 6:1). We have been cleansed of sin (1 John 1:7), but cleanliness is only NEXT to Godliness. We have learned to search the scriptures with understanding from commentaries and word studies, but have to now search with "the Spirit of God" which searches "even the DEPTHS of God" (1 Corinthians 2:10) and understand fully why Jesus said AND made sure this verse (John 19:30) ended up in the bible...so that we would know for sure that there is NO ADDITION to the bible (as far as any WRITTEN word, the bible is "the word of TRUTH" (2 Timothy 2:15), "the sword of THE SPIRIT" is the word of God Ephesians 6:17) and when the Spirit speaks to us, we are to live by every word that proceedeth out of the MOUTH (I forget the verse momentarily) of God (vocal), not the word of truth. There is more to learn, but only from the Spirit of God, not from any additional writings, such as those of Joseph Smith or ANYBODY. There is a DEEPER understanding of God that can be learned(1 Timothy 3:16), but not from any text.

Jesus was sent to earth to perform a MISSION from God The Father (to become the sacrifice for sin, that was accomplished on the cross). Before Jesus breathed His last breath, He said very clearly "IT IS FINISHED". The only other thing that Jesus did on earth before ascending into heaven, was the introduction of the Holy Spirit. There is no addendum to the bible (no textual addendum) except what The Holy Spirit speaks to us. We are to be SPIRIT filled Christians, not WORD filled Christians. Tweet
