I just saw the movie on T.V., but I've also heard of it when someone said something about 'The Passion'. Since I missed the beginning of the movie, I couldn't tell whether it was only intended to be a shortened version (synopsis) or if it was intended as a Catholic version, but all that I saw, showed a blatant disregard for accuracy. Jesus didn't even wear a purple robe or carry His cross after Pilate sentenced Him. As I rememember, even the Catholic gospels have Him carrying His cross and two other criminals crucified next to Him. Maybe some things were edited out for time constraints, but it seemed like a RELIGOUS soap opera. Who would choose to write a movie about JUDAS anyway?, certainly not someone whose hero is Jesus.
