This is a great subject. It is interesting that some are "delivered to Satan" for the destruction of the flesh as in the case of the Corinthian, but as someone said, God does not do evil nor does He tempt man. He is "bound" by the Law of Love Himself as He is Love--stated before--He can not do "evil" though He does administer justice, He is a just God. Sometimes the word evil just means that something bad happened ie earthquake, and not that it was a heart matter. I think it was the centurion that noted that Jesus was able to order spirits around or something. :-)

I'm new to this forum and enjoy Mr. Finney's writings immensely. I was intrigued by the first archive on freewill.
