Forgiving and forgetting are not the same thing. If someone chops off your arm, it would be highly unlikely that you would ever "forget". You could say (like Stephen said when He was getting stoned) "Lord do not hold this against them as sin", whether the Lord will or not is up to Him, but, "Love does cover a multitude of sins". In my understanding, "Judge not lest ye be judged" refers to Poetic Justice,...what goes around, comes around...We reap what we sow...Judge not lest ye be judged [by yourself]. The more we forgive others, the more we will be able to forgive ourselves when we make a mistake. Then we will be at peace instead of haul around a dirty conscience and will be able to "Love each other as we love ourselves". Don't be more concerned with what the bible says to you than what Jesus says to you when you talk to Him AND listen to Him. But don't just throw your heart around and forgive everyone carelessly, explain to them that they HURT you, then your forgiveness will be...
AN ACT OF LOVE.
