Re: Rubella virus vaccine. Safe?

I guess I was not vaccinated as a child, nor I had ever contracted it before, cause Rubella virus IgG (whatever that means)in my blood test came out negative.

I read a some info about Rubella on the net and made a conclusion that my chances of contracting it are very low.

First of all I don't get in close contact with too many children, second, the majority of children in this country (where I live now) are vaccinated against it. Third, it can only be dangerous for the fetus if I contract it during first 5-7 weeks of the pregnancy.
