Exellent! Let me know the doc's name and I will ask my Chiropractor if she has heard of him/her. HOpefully the person is a Sherman grad and knows how to do a really good toggle atlas adjusment (yes, it's the top bone - right under the skull). Not all Sherman grads stayed with that method, unfortunately. It's late here and I will follow up with a better response for you. My boyfriend is a bodyworker at her office, and very articulate about the process, so I will get his help in getting you a concise explanation. I can send you one of her brochures that explains it if you want to send me your address, too. You can e-mail me at PMTincDT@aol.com. My doc has incorporated adjustments of some of the other cervical bones in the neck over the years she has been practicing, but she does not adjust any thoracics or lumbars - believe it or not, those come around once you get rid of the brain stem pressure, and the right kind of bodywork helps. Too bad you're not in Michigan. She is totally brilliant, and really intuitive, as well. Very tapped into the psychospiritual connection of healing, also. I'm sure your doc in Florida could also provide you with information about the specifics of his/her practice. I'll try to get back to you with more info in this forum, but you might be better off e-mailing me - sometimes I lose my place in these things and can't find old postings.
