Re: Getting off Thyroid medication!?

I have hypothyroidism, and was diagnosed lactose intolerant a few years ago. I did the candida diet last year and felt laods better, but I'm suspecting gluten intolerance for several reasons, plus 2 members of my family have the symptoms.

I have been referred to a gastrointologist (sp?) as I want to rule it out plus other bowel problems. Is there a test for it do you know?

It's great to hear the success you've both had with cutting gluten out. Did you have any left over fatigue that was resolved by the gluten free diet, that wasn't helped fully by thyroid meds? This is my main problem. Which other symtpoms were helped by the diet?

Many thanks!
