Gall bladder attacks are not usually dull. Usually, the attacks are pretty sharp, intense, agonizing, severe. And this severe pain caused insomnia, but only because I was whimpering too much to fall asleep.
Now, a consistently stuck stone might possibly? result in a dull pain, but... that's certainly not a typical gall bladder attack.
How long has this been going on?
You might want to seek out a professional to look into this for you. (I'd suggest a naturopathic doctor, but any doctor you trust...) It's extremely difficult to diagnose something like what you've described via the Internet, especially since none of us (I'm pretty sure none of us is) legally qualified to do so.
