I'd like to recommend a book called "Prescription Alternatives" by Earl Mindell. I'll put the Amazon link at the bottom so you can see which one I'm talking about.
This book deserves 10 stars. It provides information on the types of prescription drugs that are usually given, and idea of the effects on the body, and suggestions for natural alternatives to the drug as well as helpful supplements to counteract side effects if someone is already on a drug. These are organized by bodily system such as Heart Disease, Digestive Tract, Colds, Cough, Astham and Allergies, Pain Relief, Antibiotics etc.
The introductory chapters on avoiding prescription drug abuse, interactions (and why they happen, reading drug labels and inserts and priciples for a healthy lifestyle are worth reading.
I doesn't have every prescription drug in here, but what it does contain can help you figure out how your body is or has been affected by any that you may have taken.
