Ingredient list of silicone implants

A client of mine had to have her silicone breast implants removed. She had them for 23 years with no problems, but then they started to leak. She knew that something was wrong when she began to feel pain in her chest and numbness and tingling down her arms. She got them out as quickly as possible (and did not replace them) but the doctor said it was a bad rupture. She had silicone in her lymph nodes and chest and he told her he could only clean up so much of it because it is like glue. The following are the other ingredients in the implants; heavy metals are used to make it into a gel. Over 300,000 women a year get these implants, but rarely are informed of the risks.

methyl ethyl ketone
cyclobexanone
isopropyl alcohol
denatured alcohol
acetone
urethane
polyvinyl chloride
lacquer thinner
ethyl acetate
epoxy resin
epoxy hardner
amine
printing ink
toluene
freon
silicone
flux
solder
metal cleaning acid
formaldehyde
talcum powder
color pigments
oakite (cleaning solvent)
cyanoacyrylates
ethylene oxide
carbob black
xylene
hexone
hexone 2
thixon-OSN-2
rubber
acid atrearic
zinc oxide
naptha (rubber solvent)
phenol
methylene chloride
benzene
heavy metals such as aluminum and platinum were also used as catalysts in turning the liquid silicone to gel.
also silica is used as a filler; it is deadly in the lungs.
