I am on Day 7 of the lemonade fast and have definitely "gotten something out of it", even though I haven't done a pure version, with the salt water flushes and laxative tea.
I've lost at least 5 - 6 pounds and have lots of energy and endurance. My skin and eyes look better, and I feel very light and clear through and through. Also, I've learned that I don't have to be a slave to food. 10 days is a long time, and I am pretty bored with the lemonade (I keep putting more and more cayenne in it to kick it up a notch), but I will to continue with the program until my body tells me it's time to eat.
I plan to continue to use the lemonade drink during the day, with a meal at night - sort of a version of the Warrior Diet.
I admit to having frequent fantasies about pesto pizza though!
