I appreciate your concern. I was just challenging the purpose of the origianl post, just as you challenged mine. Your point is exactly it. It´s the norm to use ´candida´when meaning 'candidiasis.' But that doesn´t mean people don´t understand that candida is a normal bacteria and candidiasis is an overgrowth. Every doctor and therapist I´ve talked to says candida as an abbreviation for candidiasis. When people say they want to cure their candida, I think they mean their candida 'problem.' It´s just a more effecient use of language. I would also like to appologize if my first reply in any way encouraged the person who responded above. In fact, that makes me regret having replied at all.
