Try this. Next time you go for something forbidden, sit down with it, turn off the TV, radio, etc, and eat it as consciously as possible. Focus on every bite, the taste, the texture, the smell. By remaining in this most conscious of states while eating you might find your "higher self" may take over and you'll realise you don't need to binge.
We tend to binge in a completely unconscious way - just stuffing our faces cos once you've started you may as well carry on cos you're only gonna feel guilty afterwards.
Do the rest of your family eat healthily? It's quite hard when the cupboards are full of crap, but what I do is take a look at the ingredients and just ask if I really want that in my system.
