Try the "Yeast Connection Cookbook" by Dr. William Crook. He's the "Godfather" of Candida & yeast disturbances. Also you should really explore the whole blood type phenomenon. It makes complete logical sense to me. Different Blood Types respond differently to food. It's worth a peek! The author who explains this theory in detail is Dr. Peter D'adamo in his excellent series of books on this topic. Eat Right 4 your Type,Live Right 4 your Type,Cook Right 4 your Type,Individual Blood Type Lists,& The Entire Blood Type Encyclopedia. Also I would highly advise you look into the avenue of getting a "good" electro-dermal specialist. They test 240ish foods with your body's chemistry & tell you your sensitivities. This helped me immensely to tailor my diet towards what's "Right 4 me" not what's right for the rest of the world. I found out I have an "acid imbalance" in & above the Candida so Tomatoes & Oranges,Apples are no no's for now. Until I get these problems under control anyway! Up until I did that I was a huge mess! Listening to what I read from different books,& internet sites. It seems everyone had different opinions. Some say eat yogourt, others say stay away from yogourt altogether. I'm sure you'll agree a tad confusing...The Blood Type Diet books helped in the sense that it tells you the foods that "your blood type" already has a hard time assimilating. So hey why eat a food everyday if it is gonna take you 10 times longer to break down? Your poor bod already has a "monumental task" in breaking down the candida so why stress it out even furthur? All those books are great but really after you figure out your Blood Type all you need is the Individual Blood List for your type. It gives you all the foods that are "highly beneficial" with your Blood Chemistry & the ones to shy away from. Everything. Drinks,Spices,Vitamins, etc. If your a Blood Type A I'll give you a bevy of info cuz that's me too! Also the Yeast Connection Book by Dr. William Crook is excellent he was one of the first "
medical doctors" to recognize Yeast as a "force to be reckoned with" & gives wonderful insight on the problem & testimonials. Although his cookbook "The Yeast Connection Cookbook" is what will help you inevitably with your "cooking woes". I got all these books on my "Oh so evil ebay account"(I'm a bonified junkie)for a fraction of what you would pay at Chapters or Indigo,Barnes & Noble, etc. Good luck with your cooking adventures...Keep us posted! A good website to explain "electro-dermal testing" is Red Paw Data Services.Take Care & don't ever give up!
