Plus, if they are forced to stop making Teflon, I imagine they'll just start making some other similar product that is bad in a technically different way.
Not only from the industry standpoint, but also that of consumers. Teflon is on tons of things. They'll shout, WE WANT OUR NONSTICK SURFACES!!!!
