The increase in Pancreas Cancer due to processed meats, is in line with the increased use, and varieties of
preservatives used, in those products in the USA.
Used to be pretty much Artificial Coloring, Sodium Benzoate, and Sodium Nitr(-ate,-ite).
Nowadays there is Disodium EDTA, Propyl Gallate, Potassium Nitr(-ate,-ite),
Other questionable ingredients used COMMONLY in meat products include: still more Artificial Colors, Brominated Vegetable Oil (BVO), Butylated Hydroxyanisole (BHA), Butylated Hydroxytoluene (BHT), Hydrolysed Vegetable Protein (HVP), Monosodium Glutamate (MSG), Mycoprotein (Quorn-brand), Sodium Caseinate, Sodium Erythorbate, and the Sulfiting agents (Sodium and Potassium Bisulfite, Sodium and Potassium Metabisulfite, Sodium Sulfite).
Time to break out the smoker and go back to REAL cured food, NOT the Chemical products....
