Excellent film showing the Pharma conspiracy

Last night on terrestial television I spotted a CANCER Conspiracy film on very early in the morning (wonder why!) The film was The Hunt for cm 24 where this scientist finds a cure for cancer using an enzyme. These people are after him because they work for the big pharmaceutical companies who want it suppressed. What I did find interesting was the comment from their lacky in charge. He says to the scientist "We don't want the pharmaceutical industry to go bust, its not in our interest because lack of money equals lack of research and lack of cures." To me I ask myself "WHAT CURES?" Wheres the cures if you have to suppress them from happening to keep you in business of profits and death? The only thing the medical establishment is good at is emergency operations and bone replacements etc. Im quite sure you dont need the big profiting companies just for those???? Its a good films watch it if you can!!!!!!!!!

-THE HUNT FOR cm 24-

A tense, Conspiracy drama centring on the disappearance of a beautiful cancer patient and the scientist who tried to save her.

Jacob Hofstetter, a brilliant young research scientist, has developed a genetically engineered wonder-drug, code-named CM24, which he is convinced is a safe and fast cure for cancer. Anxious to push ahead with his research he finds his clinical tests banned by the authorities - Dr Elke Jordan (a former lover of Jacob’s) and Jacob’s boss Uhl.

Jacob is approached by the beautiful young Annabelle Millevoix. Dying slowly from a bone cancer, she has read of Jacob’s claims in the newspaper and begs him to test CM24 on her.

Jacob refuses absolutely. But his judgement is soon clouded by his growing affection for Annabelle. His dilemma is worsened when Uhl tells him that he is not to continue working on CM24. Jacob cannot bear to let Annabelle die and so injects her with the drug. Shockingly, Annabelle collapses and slips into a coma. Jacob rushes her to hospital - but later he is told by Elke that Annabelle is dead

Jacob quickly finds himself locked out of his own laboratory, and then fired by the Institute who want to cover up the disaster. Stricken with remorse he discovers that mysteriously there is no record of Annabelle’s body ever having been in the mortuary.

But there are things that don’t add up. Unconvinced by the excuses he is given and the lack of concern to the body’s disappearance, Jacob resolves to get to the bottom of what has really happened to Annabelle. But as he starts to dig deeper, more obstacles are thrown in his way and he becomes aware that he is being followed....

Out of the blue, he receives a telephone call, apparently from Annabelle, who tells him she is alive and in Switzerland... But by the time Jacob reaches the clinic where she is supposedly staying, Annabelle has vanished, and her records say that she died five years ago.

Elke and Uhl then appear on television to discredit Jacob and the CM24, and a warrant is put out for his arrest. Realising he is now completely on his own Jacob sets out to find Annabelle, if indeed she is alive, and to stop the last drops of CM24 falling into the hands of the dangerous and powerful adversaries he finds himself
pitted against....
