Russian scientists from the university of biochemistry of Siberian branch of the Russian Academy of Science under direction of academician Lev Panin have invented a unique anti-aging solution.

They used macrophages as their main "ingredients". Macrophages are in fact cells that are capable of cleansing the organism by devouring old and dying cells. According to the scientists, it would soon be possible to rejuvenate people while making them feel and look 15-20 years younger by means of such "miracle-workers".

The research has revealed that the amount of macrophage cells tends to decrease drastically by mid age. Thus, their circulation through all bodily organs and the bodily tissue stops. The organism in turn slowly begins to fade away. Mr. Panin's idea focuses on the following notion: while injecting macrophages into the bone marrow, researchers hope that it will trigger the rejuvenating process.

Nowadays, scientists extract macrophages from pigs. In future however, according to Mr. Panin, it is expected that stem cells found in a newborn's umbilical cord will be extracted, frozen by means of liquid nitrogen and stored in special banks for future use. They could then be used when one is no longer satisfied with the way he/she looks.

In the meantime, scientists continue to carry out their experiments on rats. However, according to them, such unique anti-aging vaccine for humans is just a few years away.
