I hear what your saying about moderation, but fasting has it's benefits as well... I wouldn't be so quick to judge, because like everything else you , moderation is the key for fasting as well, or detoxing of any sort, you want to give your body time to heal, adjust and get strong again.
I say, if it works for ya and your healing your body, go for it.
Everyone will heal differently, everyone is different... to respect peoples paths and opinions as valid, at least for them.
I think this site and forum is great and i get alot of great information on it.. in fact, i'd love to know more about this ultimate fasting thing... so i can see if it is for me.
