You don't have to cancel plans. Go along and bring your lemonade. It helps to be social and get your mind off of food. Being around food is inevitable. This diet doesn't mean you have to stop your life to try to avoid it (food). I've been on this diet for 9 days so far and I've grown to really enjoy just smelling food (my sense of smell is totally heightened from this diet). It's almost as good as eating it!
