For what it's worth...
I'm pretty new to this forum, but since I found it I've been visiting it several times a day and posting whatever health and cleansing questions come to mind. I've received friendfly responses, some great information, and a wonderful feeling of camraderie with others who reject the AMA as the ultimate source of truth and wisdom when it comes to health care.
A couple of times I've stumbled across childish exchanges of religious views in the health care forums. As Tracey implied, they are distressing and disconcerting to those of us who don't share them. If those who feel complelled to inflict their religious prejudices on others can be effectively diverted to a handy, on-site forum designed for that purpose, then I would like to see it stay. But I also agree with Tracey that this site should remain devoted to information exchange on health issues.
At the risk of enraging a few readers and posters, I will add that I find the content of the
Depression forum to be somewhat at odds with the rest of the site. I speak as a sufferer from this condition as well as a (recovered) veteran of prescription anti-depressants. It doesn't take much research to discover that prescription anti-depressants are dangerous and mainly ineffective; yet the content of the
Depression site focuses on titrating doses of these poisons, and switching back and forth between them. I find this totally at odds with the intent, as I perceive it, of this site to address health issues through natural methods of cleansing, dietary management, and natural health supplements.
