I agree with the other posts. You should also consider massive doses of probiotics of numerous strains over a period of time.
Also, if the problem is really mucous, the question is, why are you producing so much mucous? You probably need to alkalize your body (a cleanse and a high raw diet is a good place to start), look into food allergies /intolerences (possibly follow the Blood Type Diet ) and perhaps eliminate dairy products for at least a month to see if that is contributing/causing your problem. Take a look at www.notmilk.com to see if any of the Body Odor /mucous problems sound similar to yours.
One more idea would be to take digestive enzymes (plant enzymes) on an empty stomach, in your case several times a day. These enzymes, on their own, can act on mucous and other things in your intestines, which might help.
Activated Charcoal (bentonite) which is one part of some cleanses should help at least absorb some of the odor.
In any case, whatever you try, I do recommend probiotics.
