I am working with a couple of doctors on this issue, who are also seeking out other opinions, and I thought I'd try to get your as well.
I've got a high level of uranium in me and need to get it moving along, but it's not all too clear yet what the best path is.
I am breastfeeding a toddler (13 months) who doesn't appear to be close to weaning at all. This toddler probably also has toxic levels of uranium from his time inutero (we will test this when he has enough hair to shave off). A complicating factor is that I would like to get pregnant again and am no spring chicken, so I don't feel like I have a lot of time to let him self-wean and then do a detox.
The seem to be a couple of schools of thought: (1) he's already been exposed, so a detox won't expose him to anything new and (2) you can't do this kind of detox while breastfeeding, so wean him and detox.
Where do you fall on this issue? What kind of detox program would you recommend for me? A chelation or supplement approach? Anything else in addition? (I'm on a strict candida diet, by the way, just to make this all a whole lot of fun.)
