It is very important to use Grade B Maple syrup.
I am on day 8 and for the first 4 days I used Grade A and molasses (because that's what I had at home).
Then I made a trip to the Health Food store and got a half gallon of Grade B Organic Maple syrup.
Wow, does it taste good! And it is worth the money. And it has much more vitamins, especially B vitamins than Grade A.
Our house will never be without it. After the fast, I plan on baking with it (instead of Sugar or honey).
