Re: Motivation strategies Anyone????
I struggle in this area somewhat. Once I'm AT the gym, I really enjoy it, and it's hard for me to leave! It's just getting there - I'm such a terrible procrastinator!
One thing that helps is, when I go out I bring my gym stuff with me, and then go to the gym before I go home. Planning it in my day, so to speak. But now that I'm on break, I am just sitting around the house all day, so I have to MAKE myself wake up/get off the computer/stop watching tv and go to the gym! It's tough...
One of my other best motivators, though, is reading my women's training magazine, Oxygen. Once I read all the moves and see their awesome bodies, it makes me want to go work out! Also, after a few days of not working out, I start to feel sluggish so of course then I want to go and work out so I won't feel so crummy.
