TMAU and Children

Hey guys,

I was reading up on TMAU and it said something about the
disorder being genetic. My husband and I got married about
14 months ago and we are considering having a baby. I am just
so scared I may pass this on to my children. I have a fecal
odor and I'm not sure it's TMAU ( I'm getting tested in a couple
weeks). Anyway my question, is there anyone that suffers from
TMAU that also have children that suffer with it as well? And
what is the likelihood that a child will get TMAU from a parent?
I really want to be a mother but it would break my heart for my
child to get it and have to sufer like I have. Sorry I rambled,
