Re: You guys ever try curry?

Wow, I have never heard of people from the continent of India not bathing for long periods of time. I have lived with many, many Indians (in the US and of all classes straight out of India) and have read many many vedic texts and heard lectures on them from bonafide spiritual masters. Which also encompassed alot culturaly as well as spirituality. The Indians I know, and what I have read in the histories/scriptures on this subject, are all about being scrupulously, incredibly clean!!! Like in a simple way, and spiritual, but beyond the cleanliness even of MOST Americans. So definately there are some aspects of their society that are not doing that, just like ours, but not as a general statement. And eating curries is based more on health and the teachings of the Ayurvedas. We can see now that India has become more and more westernized and third world the last few centuries, they have lost most of their intrigueing, RICH, culture, and that is also reflecting in their health and how they eat. Eating at mc dondalds or cooking their curries with meat and comercial oils, instead of fresh ghee and curd from their family cow (they all had one), with vegetables from the fields.

Anyway I am not Indian myself and I eat curries almost everyday, along with a lot of raw foods. Curries are wonderfuly delicious, with practice especially. I am looking into some Body Odor issues though, and am thinking maybe I need to cut back on the broccoli and cauliflower, and stick more with my garden greens (which are easy to grow). I also don't and don't intend to start walking around all day smelling like curry :) that's kinda of funny. I don't think not kekeping up with good hygeine, especially after a meal will help much. Personaly I think the body ordor thing comes from being toxic inside and that it is probably one of the easiest things to heal with the RIGHT cleasing/healing regime. Not sure what others here think. Well off to learn more.

Peace,
Autumn
