Corporate science,not impressed! You always have to evaluate scientific studies, I don't care what journal they're in! I refer to roy walford and his corporate funding and his archaic way of creating science. Lab rats chimpanzees, dogs, cats, animal abuse as far as I am concerned, and the same old establishment propaganda. Also walfords unbeleivable and unfounded claims, even the title of his book " BEYOND THE 120 YR DIET'' . How could he possibly prove that ? Pure sensationalism! and your misinformed claim''dozens of studies from rats to primate with doubled life spans''. More exagerated bull. There are no studies conclusive in any primate study showing double life spans, the studie have not been perpetrated on any primate long enough to prove that only irratable and depressed chimps. Ever since the government has allowed corporate funding for scientific studies abuse have been rampent. Walford is one of many. Check out Bruce Ames phd and head of the bio chem dept at the U of berkeley an icon in the environmental movement of the 70's sold out to corporate interests now claimng pesticides like organo phosphate a known carcinogen is harmless making other assinine statements such as ''there are just as many carcinogens in an organic vegetable as there are in p.v.c. polyvinyl chloride '' more scientific studies found in scientific journals. I may not have read all the footnotes in your references, but i've read enough to doubt many of your interpretations of what you call Science and what someone else may call science. They say a wise man only beleives half of what he reads but a genius to know which half! There is no final word in Science today, I don't claim to know everything and I doubt that you do either. Tweet
