Re: Adrenals Fatigued Appetite Is Not

I can relate in that I crave breads and an awful fried food diet, high in fat, and sometimes get repulsed by the organic whole foods that are actually healthy for me. We are craving certain things that we need - whether sugars or fatty acids. But we have to resist the temptation to splurge on stuff we know is bad! It's a quick "fix" that stops us from truly getting better. Try to find out what your cravings mean and eat responsibly. (Sounds like a Beer commercial.) Make sure you are getting plenty of minerals, fatty acids, complex carbs and protein. Eat smaller meals more often if you feel hypoglycemic. By the way, I went as far as buying a blood Sugar monitor and found that my hypoglycemic symptoms do not necessarily mean my blood Sugar is low. Since it uses up cortisol to regulate blood sugar, and we don't have enough cortisol to waste, the trick, for me at least, is discipline in my eating. My other advice is that you read everyone's opinions and keep a journal to find out what actually helps you. We are so complex and may be off balance in different ways. Take care...
