gallstones on US

Hi Iamgettnbetter!

There have been several posts on this forum explaining that the stones seen on Ultrasound are the old and crystallized stones. These will sink when you do finally get them out. The newer stones will float, are mostly cholesterol. I believe we need to get the newer stones out with flushing before the older stones will release. The liver has accommodated the old stones for a long time

I've had 5 flushes, 1665 stones, and only one black stone which also can indicate an older stone. I am still working on the newer stuff!

How large are your stones? Just wondering if you should start trying to break them up while you keep flushing the newer ones.
Best health to you, Barb
