From my investigations on the net I have found that some practitioners (probably most actually) will advise patients to avoid bakers or brewers yeast. This is because whilst it's not similar to pathogenic yeast which is Candida, there may be some cross over sensitivity which may aggravate an already stressed immune system. But then I have found other practitioners who actually recommend that if your not allergic/sensitive to bakers or brewers yeast, to add some to your supplements in large doses. Its something to do with antibodies etc, but ultimately it will better help the body to fight Candida. So my question is, have any Candida sufferers out there tried supplementing with bakers or brewers yeats, and if so, what were the results? This seems a novel way to attack the problem but I will give anything a try once.
