Re: Hi Sky2003

My antifungals are: Nystatin, Garlic, Grapeseed Extract, Colloidal Silver , Caprylic acid, Olive Leaf Extract and Yeaststat (has pau de arco and other herbs). I have two of these antifungals 3 times every day for a week and then change to another 2 antifungals. I dont think it matters which ones but I do something like Nystatin and Olive Leaf, Grapseed and Colloidal, Caprylic and Yeastat etc on rotation. I also do the cleanses P&B plus epson cleansers which I feel really help and take 2 capsules of probiotics every day without fail. I have done this fully for the last 2.5 months. I no longer have Sugar symptoms (which were really bad) and I am not fatigued. I am still allergic to my favourite drink bourbon though and bloat for 5-6 days after having any so obviously I dont drink bourbon anymore. lol My fave antifungals for me are Colloidal Silver in big doses, caprylic acid, garlic and gse (they had the biggest die off effect).

I follow the Atkins diet generally with a few candida modifications. I have gone from 65kg to 55kg over a period of 3 months and intend to get down to 50kg as my goal weight. I put on a lot of weight because of not eating right and it seems to just fall off when I follow the candida protocol.

I generally think that if you are strict with the diet (and I mean completely strict), take probiotics and a variety of antifungals - you will get better in 2 - 6 months depending on the severity. I will be continuing myself until about April and then re-evaluating my situation. I will always be maintaining my health though. I dont ever want candida back.

As for how severe my condition was I would say relatively. I am a very positive person so dont let tiredness or fatigue get in my road of a good time but did experience a lot of tiredness. My digestive symptoms are the worse as I bloat really bad and have all sorts of other dramas. I had rashes on my face and arms which now only re appear if I drink bourbon.

My hardest problem is the people around me. No one except my roommate supports me in my candida endeavours. Everyone else just wants me to keep partying and drinking with them and I know a lot of my friends have candida and wont do anything to fix it. I myself have decided to go forward with my life and health but with my parents and friends always trying to get me to eat this or that (it wont hurt) it does get hard. You just have to be strong in your conviction to be healthy. I like places like this because we all share the same common goal. Our health.

Good luck with everything.
