Candida live in mucosa tissues, which is mainly your colon. You hve to clean them out from there. They can survive quite well in our bloodstream. There are other avenues to the bloodstream other than the stomach, where they usually, but not always, die. Once in the bloodstream they can go just about anywhere.
A HIGH protein diet, especially red meat or pork, is acidic. It won't help your candida. Eggs tend to be okay.
Try eating one green salad a day, a bowl of soup, and some kind of grain. Then if you're still hungry have protein.
What you eat can affect the acid in the stomach, but more importantly, HOW you eat affects it. You have to eat regular meals with 4 hours in between. Meals should be small, you should not drink wtih meals as that dilutes the acid in the stomach.
