Re: sooo many books

If you're anything like me - you'll come out of the bookshop with loads of books (you can never read too much on candida afterall)!! My food related books have helped me most (yeast connection, eat right for your type, raw food/cookbooks etc) I also did atkins - it definitely helped the initial detox, but I can't afford to eat good quality organic meats in the quantites to mantain atkins - and absolutely refuse to eat non-organic meats due to the crap pumped into it! I now do a combination of my Blood Type Diet and low glycaemic index foods (I try to have more raw veg - can you believe I never had a proper salad or raw veg in my diet until 2 years ago?! no wonder I was so messed up!) You will be able to pass on thrush if you have it externally on sex organs (I presume this applies to thrush in mouth as well - not sure?) No sugars does mean you will have to limit fresh juices (that's why atkins is good) some people recommend staying on less than 50carbs a day so you don't give the yeast too much extra Sugar - I just try to make sure my diet is low in Sugar and high in fresh veg, fibre and good fats. When you drink juices (especially apple and carrot) you are getting a lot of digestible vitamins but also a very quick injection of Sugar directly into your bloodstream - not good for people with candida in their blood (systemic)! I don't drink, but think your Gin and tonic does not have the level of yeast/fermentation as beer does (yeast loves yeast!) (:o)
