Yes, unfortunately, any kind of hormonal contraception can worsen candida because it changes the mucosa lining of the cervix. It makes it thicker and thus friendlier to candida.

If you watch your diet, take good care of yourself, take probiotics and occasionally douche with yogurt or acidopholis, you can combat this okay. It just means a little more work than someone who doesn't take them. :) Also, try to take the mixtures with more progesterone than estrogen, such as the depo-provera shot, rather than the pills. That seems to make a slight difference.
