I like brocolli too, and most of the other veggies you listed. My insomnia acts up with too much of most any green veggie, but I was eating 3-5 cups of them a day when that was happening. I am about to get the nerve up to try them again but this time with oil. Do you get insomnina from beans? Black beans and pinto give me insomnia too. (what is your take on beans?).
Yes I must agree that we are most likely imbalanced from all of the "stuff" done to our food and our world. I had not read about the mineral content being so low, now I am worried again that I should take supplements. Which I had stopped doing because I thought it would be wiser/safer. Do you take any supplements? Yes GE foods scare me, its a shame some people have no common sense or are too greedy to see the truth. Sometimes I wish there was no such thing as a "patent" then maybe this kind of thing wouldnt be happening.
I too got pretty out of balance from drinking green drinks for about a week and half. I wonder why its taken me so long to get back on track. Probably the mineral imbalance. Do you think we need the fat to release bile and thats why we need it? Maybe without the bile we dont get enough of the fat soluable vitamins? Do you have any deficiencies of the fat soluable vits (D, E, A, K)? Just curious.
