Re: Thinking of cheating

I believe that "thinking of cheating" is willing to do whatever it takes to mend the fences. Having been through his situation I know he is grasping at straws to keep afloat. Do not let the stress get you down because it will if you let it. Get something to do that will take your mind off your situation. Some things I have found that hasn't helped, except for maybe a brief period. are counselors, moving, gifts, children, and trips. Telling her I love her didn't work because I did that several times a day before it all happened. Forgiving only helped me, not her. It seems to me to be something in her personality that you have to learn to live with if you want to stay together. I know it is hard to desire emotional connection, which includes sex, and not have it. In my situation, it is like the emotional connection was broken and will probably never be back together. But thinking back, there was probably a short in it from the beginning. Even when you get to have sex it may not be emotionally fulfilling but physically only. I still fight the urge to cheat but know it can only lead to further problems that could be worse than the situation I am in now. If everything falls apart I do not want to have done anything to help it in any way.
Kala, what do you recommend to get things started in the right direction if what you say can help this situation?
