Athena Alchemical Beginnings
humans were created in a perfect state with both female and male sex organs. It is accepted
Science that humans possesesd both m/f sex organs and later evolved into two sexes.
Science I think says this happened for diversities sake. Religions say because of sin. In any case equally developed organs in one human existed. Even today a prostate is known to be a vestigial or underactive uterus. A clitoris is an underactive penis etc.. They are not used and become dormant. There is some evidence that self fertilization existed. Also the book of genesis (priciple beginning of genes) states that "they" (men) were created male and female and man created a helper (self fertilized?) without sexual intercourse (eve) air, water, soil etc,.. is depleted or diminished so is our physical and mental state. Like comes from like. SO a human cannot create a perfect state unless it already exists within us. Look at integration as opposed to dualism which I think is what you are doing Athena. Sex is part of the tree of life and abuse cuts you off from it. Animals (what we are when we operate from the base or carnal chakras) that have excessive sex have short lifespans. The same with the fruiting trees which we are compared so much with in spiritual and religious books. Excessive sex creates hormone shortages and changes in cerebrospinal fluid and such. Some might say that sex itself may be considered abnormal as male is weak after sex, sperm must fight thru the maze of uterus , enemies of vaginal acid and discharge etc... Sexual intercourse was probably not the first intention for the tree of life within us maybe it is to nourish the tree of knowledge in our higher centers. When you control this you seem to have a better quality of life. Now self-gratification being self gratifying is caused by lust some satisfy this with same sex, opposite sex, with beast or by self-gratification lust and sexual heat feel need to be satisfied immediately the degradation of the fruit (sperm, ova leads to weakend organs which continually perpetuate us the fruit the fact that we realize this may be cause for us to "get back to eden" by nourishing the tree of knowledge rather than the tree of good and evil.
