Re: WickedPixie - age gap

Yeah, women (AND men) have a tendency to exaggerate many aspects of their lives, not just sex. Humans can be very competitive creatures. My baby is cutest or smartest, my dog does the most tricks, my dad can beat your dad, my golf score is lowest, my team wins more games, my car is newer, and on and on and on and on... All that keeping up the Jones illusionary stuff can get *really* boring after a while.

Before I met my husband, I was involved with a man about 11 years younger than me. A few years before that I dated someone about 9 or 10 years younger. Before and between them I dated guys around my age and up to about 14 years older than me. Oh, and I dated one very immature guy 20 years older than me way back in my younger years.

One thing I learned, physical age has a lot less to do with maturity than most people like to think. Maturity is a highly individualized quality that has everything to do with realizing the world doesn't revolve around you and almost nothing to do with what physical age you learn it.

Age is relative and matters little. Compatability and so many other things, like mutual dreams, respect, honesty, trust, really do mean so very much more.
