That extra information helps. Whenever possible, buy your supplements like milk thistle and dandelion in TINCTURE form. The liquid is easy for your body to absorb and uptake, pills and tablets are not.

Second, it is not the low carb that is killing your liver (low carbs are good), it is the HIGH PROTEIN. This puts a HUGE strain on your liver. It treats it and makes it feel like a sewer. Sure, you will lose weight but it is terrible for your liver. Your liver is simply not designed to be able to process that large amount of meat, poultry, all the things that have protein in them - eggs, etc. This is the huge problem I have with the atkins diet. No wonder you are feeling icky. If you want a healthy liver, the last thing you want to do is go on a high protein diet. OK, nuff said about that. I just went yipes when I read that.

You do NOT need high protein to bulk up. That is a myth. In fact, one of the recent Mr. World's was a fruitarian! He was HUGE.

OK, acne. You are so on the right track to take care of it. You have correctly ascertained that the liver fluish will do more to help you with your Acne than anything else. Just know that it may take more than one flush and symptoms MAY flare up alittle bit as your system is detoxing and flushing out. Be patient.
