lymphatic massage

Maybe this is what I need, lymphatic massage -- although, doesn't the dry brushing also tease your lymph to circulate?

I asked "my" massage therapist about lymphatic massage one day and he said, "oh, it's just like this" and he did some very light, short strokes on my shoulder. He didn't think lymphatic massage was anything to consider.

Oddly, I then went to a day spa and asked *them* to describe lymphatic massage (which they listed in their brochure) and all I got was a lot of double talk. I really couldn't comprehend what they were saying -- turned out, they didn't really offer it, so knew *nothing* about it and were throwing in the red herrings of their other massages, instead of answering my question.

To this day I haven't a clue what "lymphatic massage" is. I mean -- when you go right to the licensed massage source and can't get a straight answer you get a little tired of persuing something that is sounding more and more immaterial.

Funny, sounds like the story of my life! :-)
