It sounds to me like you are already experiencing lazy bowel syndrome, so that wouldn't be my biggest concern if I was in your shoes and seeking relief. In fact, that's exactly the situation I have faced during my entire life, so I believe I have some expertise to offer on this subject.
First of all, if you are using Fleet chemical disposable enemas, I'm confident that you will find saline solution enemas using an enema bag to be far more comfortable and effective.
As far as a Colema type board, they are very popular and many people find them to be extremely helpful. My aunt has one and I have used it several times and experienced excellent results, so I would encourage you to explore that option as a possibility.
But in the meantime, if you don't already have an enema bag, it would probably be a good idea to purchase one. If you are in the U.S. it will cost about $15 in a pharmacy, or somewhat more online for one of higher quality.
