Re: day 4,should i continue? help!
Try a little more maple syrup, or drink more servings. Defintely take in as much water as you can.
DON'T DESPAIR!
I rarely eliminate as often as the book says I should (I've stopped the every day tea and use it only a few times a week, I'm happy to have done this). So don't fret about the bm's. (They'll rarely be firm)
It's normal to be chilly, you're body has to learn it's okay to use up fat reserves to heat your body - just put on a sweater (like mother says).
The first 5-6 days are always the hardest. Your body is tryng to adjust to its meager input and wants you to eat what t's used to, hence the hunger pangs. But the change WILL be accepted and the hunger will cease, the tiredness will disappear and the chills...well, keep a sweater handy.
Don't be afraid to nap, it will help your body adjust.
That you're on day 4 proves you have great will power, don't give up yet. The best awaits you!
