If you make a gallon ahead of time, does it need to be refrigerated? What do yall do?!? HELP!!

I would like to make a gallon ahead of time, andI found the reciepe here in the archives, BUT it didnt say if it had to be refrigerated, or do I warm it up, is hot water best, if you make a bunch what do you do?!?
