Re: Did first flush - have questions

The malic acid in apple juice is supposed to break up
stones into smaller pieces making them easier to flush.

As I understand it, there is a muscle at the bottom of
the main bile duct that relaxes during meals. Between
meals, it keeps the bile from dripping into the stomach
since it isn't needed. After the main bile duct fills,
excess bile flows into the gallbladder through the cystic
duct. If there are small stones in the bile, they could
easily flow into the gallbladder at the same time.

Disclaimer: I am a programmer, not a doctor.

I'll let someone else explain the moon phases. It
probably has something to do with gravitational pull.

Sounds like you had a good flush. Congratulations!
