Things were great.... as of 2 weeks ago. I fell off the metabolic typing wagon for about a month, but now I am getting back on. In addition to the nutritional plan I am taking supplements, and doing quartly reviews of my blood, glucose tolerance levels, etc. all done by the Chinese Medicine practitioners who have prescribed this eating program for me. There was an improvement in my skin for a while, but the problem has since returned and it may do with the wheat I started eating for a while. But my second blood sample showed that my blood has "cleaned up" so much and that in turn has raised my immune system. Like I said, I don't know if it's the actual diet or supplements that are causing the positive changes. Can't say that my energy is any better or that my skin has been ideal. I have not lost weight like I had hoped, but also I am addicted to Sugar and have not stopped eating it once a day even though I
am not supposed to have anything remotely sweet, not even most fruits! Bottom line is, I can't really tell if it doing anything for me. I could very well try the Blood Type Diet or the Zone and feel just as good about it. I know that everyone's needs and likes are different so perhaps you would respond to it and love it, but for me, I'll just do it because the practitioner has asked me to and I want to continue since there is some progress and to be honest I have no other options lined up.
