a very sucessful detox may make you feel worse - temporarily!
Hi Anne,
You're interpreting your sauna and chlorella events one certain way by saying that the toxics were redistributing intead of exiting the body. What made you decide that? My interpretation would be that your saunas were sucessful, perhaps spectacularly so! The symptoms getting momentarily worse is a part of it, since the stuff you want out of the body really is toxic! You didn't mention how long your symptoms got worse for - was it a day or two, a week, or more?
The body is too smart to just redistribute the stuff after a sauna. The lymph will deposit the nasty's into the blood and it will exit from there. You are right that infra-red saunas do continue to take away the gunk for days after the saunas itself. I can vouch personally because the substance i was detoxing had a taste - and i tasted it for about a day and a half after each sauna. So to me it makes perfect sense that there could be a dip for a few days after a sauna.
Your story really reminded me of what i went through after each clay bath -- HELL. That's really how i describe it. The hell after each bath lasted for about a week. My emotions were totally raw, my body felt like poo-poo and to me, it was a sign of success! (I likened it to going to withdrawl from alchohol/heroin...) Metals and other materials are harmful, whether they're in the body, or moving as they are exiting. So in addition to whatever released in the bath itself (and I knew alot was released due to the color changes in the clay), my body was moving the metals out for a week after the actual bath. And i felt it the entire time.
Re your interpretation that your baths didn't get rid of metal - you don't know that for sure. just cuz your symptoms didn't disappear doesn't mean the baths weren't working! Luana of magnetic clay baths recommends 8 baths. (Just like Andreas recommends 12-15 flushes!)
And as to knowing whether Mage has a metal problem - her own guidance is the best answer here... in my case it was documented that i had NO metal problem - the first blood tests i took showed no metal accumulation whatsoever! It wasn't until after i started sauna-ing that metals mysteriously showed up in the blood. Where did they come from ? Places in my body where the current tests didn't measure them. So my gut feeling about it was right all along. So.. even if a blood test shows nothing, it does't mean that metals have not accumulated in the tissues of the body.
As for documenting metal problems, there are hair tests which found metals in me where blood tests did not. (great smokies diagnostic lab has a hair test, for one).
In your case you backed out after the 'negative' responses from your body - to me your 'negative' responses were the sign that the therapies you chose were working.
